Conference Halls

The Conferences Halls are designed for Meetings, Workshops, and Training purposes. Room fittings, furnishings and equipment are practical, flexible and uncluttered to make it an ideal meeting place. CYSD has an A/C Auditorium with a sitting capacity of 250 persons and two A/C Seminar Halls with a 55-seater capacity.

 Accommodation

In keeping its mandate, CYSD extends colossal accommodation amenities with modern conveniences to visitors from both within and outside the Country. The hostel offers excellent value, with comfortable and convenient accommodation for up to 58 guests, in a variety of dormitory-style rooms, and two air-conditioned guest rooms with attached bathrooms.

Library

A semi-automated reference library with a vivid and excellent collection of nearly 10,000 books, 7000 mimeos, 80 periodicals and 500 audio-visuals, CYSD’s library is a knowledge-assimilating hub for Students Social Scientists, Development Professionals, Social Researchers and different Government and Media professionals alike, as its regular users.

The Library facilitates easy documentation and management of resource materials library using ‘SMART-Lib’ software and the internationally accepted Dewey Decimal Classification Schedule, for subject wise classification of materials.

With an open access system, the CYSD library provides a range of services like Internet Browsing, Photocopy, CD Writing, and Sale & Distribution of CYSD Publications, Document Scanning, Newspaper Clippings, and Bibliography etc. to its users.

Cafeteria

A modestly priced cafeteria flaunting a choice of Indian, Chinese, Continental and Oriya cuisine caters to hostel residents and non-resident guests attending conferences, seminars and training programmes.
