Gopabandhu Fellowship for Nurturing Educated Youth

Since 2022, CYSD has been running the Gopabandhu Fellowship Program to engage young people from diverse backgrounds and career interests in addressing the development challenges faced by Odisha's poorest communities. Each year, ten fellows are selected through a rigorous three-day on-campus process. The program includes community immersion experiences, learning sessions, and innovative leadership training, all aimed at enhancing the fellows' skills and competencies.

Each fellow is paired with a mentor, and a personalized program is designed to help them discover their inner strengths and abilities. At the graduation ceremony on CYSD's Annual Foundation Day, fellows who complete the program are honored with a Fellowship Completion Certificate.

The Gopabandhu Fellowship Program has been created to provide a unique opportunity for Odisha's young minds to work with rural communities, empathize with their struggles, and connect with their aspirations. It offers a learning platform for young talents to undergo a year-long journey of rediscovering their leadership potential. This program educates and empowers passionate youth to create positive changes at the grassroots level in rural Odisha.
