Advocacy Officer for Budget

Job Responsibility

·         Initiate different advocacy processes in order to have impact on the budget and policies of the state.

·         Formulae innovative advocacy actions to communicate the research based findings to the community as well as the state

·         Understanding on Budget data analysis and research based assignments like formulation of research questions, tools design and data gathering and reporting

·         Undertaking actions to dialogue with the policy makers Government officials and other civil society actors to have pro-poor budget ad policy priorities on the state.

Knowledge/Skill/Ability

·         Research tool design

·         Proficiency in Excel and Power Point

·         Report writing

·         Networking with the Government and non Government bodies

·         Knowledge on SPSS is preferred

Qualification – Social Science, preference Economics

Experience: 3 years minimum in similar field.
