WRC Learning Centre Reduces Dropouts and Strengthens Foundational Learning in Dangapani

With strong leadership from members of the WRC, a new Learning Centre has been inaugurated at Dangapani village under Saleibeda Gram Panchayat, reaffirming the Panchayat’s commitment to zero dropout and inclusive education. The initiative recognizes that education shapes a complete human being, especially when it begins in a child’s mother tongue.

Understanding the needs of the local tribal community, the WRC established the centre to support children at risk of dropping out. Community leader Janaki Purti is spearheading the effort, teaching 40 students in their tribal Ho language. By making lessons joyful, relatable, and culturally connected, the centre has transformed learning into a positive experience.

The WRC Learning Centre has created a safe and inclusive environment where children feel confident and motivated to continue their schooling. This community-driven initiative is already delivering visible impact by reducing dropout rates and strengthening foundational learning outcomes.
