Job Title: Accounts & Logistic Manager

Malkangiri

Role: Sishu Ghar (Rural Creche Initiatives)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting transactions and update the books of accounts regularly.
  • Conduct budget variance analysis, prepare budget forecast and financial reports
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  • Audit financial transactions and documents
  • Conduct needs assessment for preparing list of assets and materials to be procured and purchase of items as per the organisational policy
  • Record all assets in the asset register and materials in the stock register immediately after procurement
  • Timely and cost-effective distribution of the materials purchased to its desired locations.
  • Ensure the quality check of anthropometric instruments every quarter and undertake repair and maintenance of assets.
  • Conduct regular monitoring of crèche activities

Educational Qualification: Commerce Graduate

Experience Required (No. of years): 3-5 years Experiences of handling NGO books of accounts

Project/Theme to handle: Accounts and Operation

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Must have Computer proficiency (Tally, MS Word and Ms Excel)
  • Sound knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
  • Knowledge of statutory laws about Income Tax and FCRA
  • Analytical skills
  • Experience of handling audit independently

Job Title: Creche Supervisor

Malkangiri

Role: Sishu Ghar (Rural Creche Initiatives)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organising community meetings for establishing créche in the village and identify suitable location for housing the crèche
  • Capture the line listing of the children in the village during the initial phase.
  • Conduct anthropometric measurements as per protocol and maintain community growth status in each créche.
  • Do child profiling; and prepare & maintain Child Card
  • Tracking and maintenance of records of assigned creches and fill MIS formats & monthly reports
  • Do supportive supervision and home visits
  • Quality check of anthropometry and calibration of instruments
  • Provide funds to the Créche Caregivers for purchase of eggs, fruits, vegetables, and Firewood.
  • Prepare monthly requisition of ration based on the monthly stock verification of data of Créche Caregivers.
  • Ensure supply and storage of ration, medicines, early childhood education materials, registers, and records.
  • Conduct monthly review meetings with crèche caregiver
  • Coordination with key stakeholders
  • Ensure that the safety and security protocols are being followed in creches

 Educational Qualification: Graduate with Basic Computer Skill

Experience Required (No. of years): 2-3 years Experiences in Community Based Programs preferably in Health and Nutrition

Project/Theme to handle: Health and Nutrition

 Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Must have working knowledge on accounts and book keeping
  • Must have good communication skills, especially in Odia and local dialects of the tribes.

Job Title: Security Manager

Govindapali, Malkangiri

Role: Sishu Ghar (Rural Creche Initiatives)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Orientation of staff and creche care givers on the safety and security protocols for creches.
  • Assessment of the buildings during the selection for the creches and suggesting renovation as per safety standards.
  • Follow up with creche supervisors and cluster coordinator for ensuring adherence to safety standards during renovation.
  • Capacity building of the creche caregivers, creche supervisors and staff on safety and security in creches.
  • Regular creche wise assessment regarding adherence to safety protocols.
  • Ensuring compliances safety standards identified in creches.
  • Supporting and motivating the communities to be part of quarterly safety audits of creches.
  • Providing action alerts on specific situations for preparedness.
  • Attending to the grievances and their prompt redressals regarding safety and security.
  • Conducting review meetings on safety and security of creches.
  • First and immediate responder to any sort of emergencies in the creches
  • The safety and security manager can be appointed to be responsible for a total of 200 creches.
  • They can be appointed on a full-term basis and can continue taking more responsibilities as the number of creches increases.

Educational Qualification:

 Education Qualification – Graduate/Master Degree.

  • Candidate with good learnability, process understanding, self-driven and decision- making skills.
  • Should have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the development sector or any technical area.
  • Should be willing to work in remote locations and travel frequently.
