The NRM Expert will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring sustainable Natural Resource Management (NRM) interventions and community infrastructure repair activities at the field level. The position will ensure effective community participation, technical convergence, and quality implementation of programme activities for sustainable livelihood and resource management.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Management & Coordination
• Plan, design, and implement sustainable NRM activities including watershed development, soil and water conservation, land development, and climate-resilient practices.
• Facilitate participatory community-based planning such as village micro-plans, water budgeting, and soil testing.
• Coordinate with Agriculture, Soil Conservation, Horticulture, Water Resources, and MGNREGS departments for technical convergence and implementation support.
